We have predator drama here this morning. The chickens were squawking as the sun came up, so I went out with my dog, as I always take her with me when there's an issue. Saw a blur of something as she chased it. It circled around and I got a good look at it. A fox - the biggest darn fox I've ever seen. I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't a coyote. Nope, a fox. My dog chased it off the property and we came back inside.

Less than an hour later I see it again. I sent my dog out and told her to "go get it". She's running it off again. I will have to leave her out today and hopefully it will stay away.

Good dog! Hope she convinces it to stay away.

The tool bar is black and white with Chrome, firefox and Internet Explorer.

Maybe solar eyes at night and the Dog during the day?

Yikes, foxes scare me around coops. I used to read the Predator threads too much in the beginning.

Thankfully, this afternoon, all my birds are accounted for. Phew! I hope it decides to get a meal elsewhere now. I'll be up at daylight tomorrow on patrol with my dog again.

I've been setting the trap each night, three nights now. So far, two raccoons and one possum............ That was the best 50 cent investment in cat food I ever had.

I'll be setting it again each night until I have several nights in a row with no catch.
