Apple pie, yum. Although the Dr. Pepper glaze frightens me.
Me too.

Be afraid...be very afraid.

I like the picture, but the napkin in the background takes the focus off the drip. I love the burlap it's on and the plate is a fantastic choice for the cake. And it's vertical too!

Ooooh Mary, I love how the one drip was caught totally spherical.

I have to disagree, cat cr*p. In fact, that is one of my favorite phrases to describe someone or something really awful......"Meaner than cat sh*t". Now I could wage war with the kudzu. Let me send ALL my deer to you. Last week they came UP onto my deck, up a flight of stairs and ate EVERY potted plant I had lovingly tended all summer long. I now have about thirty huge pots of dirt with a few stems on my deck, it's quite festive looking.

a lot could be said for cat p*ss too!

At my last house, the neighbor's cat came in my kitty door, went into my living room and sprayed somewhere. I could smell it but not find it. I finally had to buy a black light so I could track down the correct spot and get it scrubbed (or basically throw out the sofa the d*mn thing had sprayed)

Wow you are right about the napkin! I knew my eye was wandering but did not know why. Beautiful picture as always sheriff!

Darnit, DH saw the fox this morning. He was shocked by it's size too. Apparently getting chased by my dog wasn't enough of a hint. I sent her out on patrol, she was on the scent in an instant - she came back a bit ago with her tongue practically on the ground.

Dr pepper glazed or not, I have an irresistible compulsion to eat that pie. good thing I have two :(pies the back of my car, along with two bags of chicken feed, 3 gallons of non homogenized milk for cheese making, a bushel of canning tomatoes, a lilac bush, three and a half gallons of upasturized cider, a half bushel of Honey Crisp apples, and - well I got to go shopping somewhere where they actually have stuff like that. Sounds kind of weird though when you list it all out.

Mine is hanging around, too, Kelly. Photographed its tracks in the dirt road just outside my gated driveway. Here is my thread on it with wav file of the howl I heard and pics of the tracks

With coyotes and at least one fox in the n'hood, makes me extra glad I have solid buildings that are predator proof (other than from a bear). We still plan to build a new, better, larger coop to house two flocks rather than just the main one, and tear Suede's old one down.
