I wish that all dogs had Tuckers life !! It wouldnt hurt people either.

My Lab pup is my choc. shadow, and enjoying life.

I guess I am a piker on numbers of chooks. I will have after Sunday only Icelandics, high on roosters as freezer camp hasnt happened yet. About another month probably, Thanksgiving week.

Isi will have his hens he is with, and the other pullets will be divided between the two new roosters from notafarm. Mary brought some beauties, and RC'd and one with crest ! I am hoping for more come spring. From now on my flock meisters will be RC and have crests, except for Isi, he is in his forever home along with his girls.

Life goes on, and it is good, and better with Icelandic Chickens !

Had a head through the fence today, but thankfully, it wasn't the goats.



Also saw some pretty strange mating behavior - chasing, hissing and jumping on Loca's back. Chica was wooing me with her "I'm so pretty" dance.

Ooh, that's exciting news. We always have chasing and hissing but no jumping. Mating season begins in November and ends in March.

That picture makes me homesick.
