Gosh, I'd take your old car. My newest vehicle is my 1996 Lumina. VERY reliable, looks quite young for her age, great gas mileage for a 6 cyl with great power. Actually, on second thought, though your new car, and your "old" car is nice, if I won the lottery, I'd just have my Lumina painted a different color (I really hate blue cars, always have) and maybe have them put a new A/C compressor in it since it hasn't been operable for about 4 years. Had it since 2000 and we've never owned a new car. Not in the cards for military folks. My Lumina has comfy seats and I don't care about the radio (it has a cassette player, no CD or fancy stuff) since I hate to listen to anything when I'm driving anyway.

We have heat!

I constantly amazes me how people do not respect the property of others. Our property is completely fenced, but we used to get people that would open our gate and come up our driveway. Since DH put this sign at the gate, NOBODY comes up now.

Pretty car, Mary. Tucker looks like he gave you his approval. Have you bought him a car seat yet? Do they make doggie car seats?

I'm with you, ChickensAreSweet. I got my first minivan when our older boys were in school (around 30 years ago)- in wrestling. We used to tote lots of kids to weekend tournaments. I love minivans - so many things about them that I love....... you sit up higher and I love that. Groceries are so easy to pack in and also to unload. And poultry feed - easy-peasy! Now, in our old age, it is nice to take grandkids and all their junk. They are very nice to travel in. I believe this last new minivan we bought is our 5th or 6th one.

Oh my gosh! Yes, they do make doggie car seats! Lots of them! HERE

LOL Happy Chooks that sign is hilarious!

I have never heard of doggie car seats. They look so comfortable that it makes me want to sit in one too- thanks for the link KathyinMO.
