The egg is out of this world! I have to ban my DH from this thread again.

The list and the awesome o meter are terrific too!

Sorry to disappoint you sickos but...

I was just making a label for Loca's first egg and I decided hers would be marked with the letter L followed by the number in which it hatched, and Chica's would be marked with a C and the number.

So, if this eggs hatches, the chick will be called Elwon.

Just call it Psycho and be done with it.

I have been trudging through the final stretch of quilting the border of this bed runner, pushing through unpleasantly tingling fingers. Crochet is easier on my hands, but I must finish this runner since it's already in our web store. I have just a couple of feet of the last border to quilt, then the binding shouldn't take but a day or so, making it, machine sewing it to the front, then whipstitching it to the back. I like this one, but I don't know when I'll make another. I need to do my own bed quilt I started at the end of 2012. Not looking forward to hand quilting a queen size quilt again, though I prefer the look of fine hand quilting to machine quilting, only because of the pain it causes me. I know that if someone bought this today, I could have it ready to mail within a week or two, no problem.
The binding will be either navy blue or another reddish brown like the sashings.

Nice Quilt!

@Happy Chooks Kelly! I am making the Asian style braised Short Ribs today. Like you I did not find Lemon Grass in the local stores.

Next time I will pick some up from the Asian Store in Davis.

Never heard of a bed runner. Hmmm.

I just candled the Isbars in my incubator. Eight of eighteen shipped eggs are developing.

Two out of six of my Isbar eggs are developing but some were put in a day late so maybe they'll show veining tomorrow. I am hoping for at least four more pullets and maybe a cockerel in case I need to replace gold ole Bjorn. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.
