Kathy - I am glad you are finding joy in your life again. I only have 1 cream legbar, but she's not flighty at all. Of course, she was the first to molt and still hasn't started back up yet. But the eggs are so pretty and their temperament is so much nicer than pure ameraucana's. I agree on icelandics being the best layers. I'm going to hatch some more when Mary's pullets get going well. (And when I get a broody - going to be too busy to incubator hatch this year)

Kelly I am trying to get in to the dentist before Saturday! It is difficult when they won't return a phone call. My dental problems were never fixed correctly and I have known this was coming for some time.

Last night I made shredded beef tacos for dinner with home made tomatillo salsa. I am glad I did it yesterday because I couldn't have done it today. Michael brought me a filet of fish sandwich from McD's for dinner tonight when he picked up my meds.



I am going to make chili verde enchiladas with the extra sauce tomorrow.

Wow! Love the food pics! What blog is that? I've heard folks can make money from blogging, can it actually be done? I love to cook and I'm always looking for something to tempt my picky child and husband. Her twin has no trouble eating at all, we plump people don't either..... Susie Q
