Thanks everyone. Each part of our lives have challenges. From getting married, having children, them leaving and now worrying about our parents. We will perservere. God willing. It just is breaking our hearts to see our strong family getting older and more infirm.

I have never seen Cape Gooseberries of Pinchuberries in the grocery store until today. Not one to pass on something news I bought the only package they had. I made a Cape Gooseberries and Blueberry Flaugnarde, which is like Clafouti except it is not made with cherries so it can't be a Clafouti.
OMG, it is so good. It is like a baked custard with fruit. It sort of makes it's own crust with the 1/2 cup flour in the custard. Even Michael liked it!

Looks good, but it's the first time I've ever seen the word "Clafouti". Glad you said it's a baked custard! My DH says call it what it is. For instance, do NOT say panini around him. It's a grilled sandwich.
