I don't think I've ever had tart cherries.

I need to make something to use up all these eggs..............pound cake, angel food cake, custard, something!
When my family makes scrambled eggs we cook about 24 eggs at a time. We eat JUST eggs and some orange juice to drink. Very rarely someone will want toast. We don't make scrambled eggs very often. But when the eggs start piling up and I need to get rid of some that is what we do. My Mom makes quiches with her eggstras.

Lovely pie Mary!

Well today I did it. I bought reading glasses. Ten dollars and I am no longer squinting. My optometrist told me to do it. It is most disconcerting though- when I look around the room I get dizzy LOL.

I made the spring rolls last night. I loved them but Michel found the texture a bit strange on the rice paper skin. I used real crab and shrimp. Tonight I am making Pad Thai. I am guessing Michael will be up tonight making a PB&J sandwich after I go to bed like he was last night. He got busted though. Tucker smelled it from our room and went in for a taste.

No Pad Thai tonight. My crown fell out as I was getting ready to start cooking. I have to be at the dentist at 8:00 a.m.

I made the horrible mistake a couple of years ago to allow a local dentist to remove and replace all my old dental work, fillings and crowns. One of the worst mistakes of my life. Nearly every tooth she worked on has had to be redone or extracted. She told me that having the work done would enable me to keep all my teeth and essentially be good to go for the rest of my life with just cleanings and anything new that might pop up. Nothing new has popped up except decay on adjacent teeth to ones she didn't fix correctly. It has been dental nightmare with no end in sight for me or my bank account.

Mary, too bad!

Michigan grows a lot of tart cherries - if you have bought pie cherries they likely were tart ones. They are wonderful when dried, delicious sweet/tart rich flavor.

Haven't been to Michigan yet.

you need montmorency cherries. aka pie cherries there are others but these do the best here and are super cold hardy
I'll have to look for those.
