I think Tucker is ok but my heart is racing and my blood pressure is probably through the roof. I am join going to lie down for a bit until it's under control. Our new neighbors don't believe in keeping their dogs in or on their property. Michael told them I will shoot them if they get near my chickens. If they get in with Jack, that will be a huge problem for them! We have him for predator control I just didn't want Tucker being the predator. OK, off to rest a bot.

Wow, two of the busiest chicks I've ever tried to photograph. Add to that I was using DH's point & shoot and the battery was going dead. I'll try to get better photos in the next couple of days.





But they are black, I've had black chicks before, but this black is different.

I have been watching those storms too. I sure hope they are not on you. I hate the constant warnings on the tv. They make me fidgety for all my friends
in the areas.

Sooo sorry about Tucker. watch him carefully. Intenal injuries do not always show up right away. I can imagine your anxiety is sky high.

OMG Jack just stomped Tucker! Michael was working on the pump in the pasture and I guess Tucker followed him out there. I was working on coops when I heard a yelp and saw Jack up on his back legs coming down on little Tucker with his front. Tucker got out and headed back for the house crying. I was running like a fool to get to him. I am looked him all over and don't see anything wrong and he is walking ok. OMG!

I rushed to the end of the thread after reading this to make sure nothing was worse. I hope he is ok too!

Poor Tucker! I hope he's okay.


We are going to have a wild night. Big thunderstorms are on the way and we're under a tornado watch. It should all be moved out by noon or so tomorrow, or at least, the bad stuff should be gone. Ladyhawk is coming on Wednesday for a few days visit.

Ive been sending good thoughts to you all in storm country. Its been an interesting few days.
