My dog is staying INSIDE tomorrow night. Last year, she got sprayed by a skunk while we were out with the kids. NOT happenin' this year.

I just woke up thinking the house was on fire! My bed is against a window and the opposite wall was glowing bright orange. I jumped up to see the most glorious sunrise ever! The colors were unreal. I grabbed my camera and went outside, but it was already fading as light took over. Did anyone else see it?

So far all they have done is be loud and rude. Hopefully that's it and they grow up, move out, get fat, and get moo'ed at! I can only wish for karma to rear it's magical head.

I saw it, but we didn't have as many clouds as you do, so it wasn't that vibrant here.

I harvested an armload of ripe tomatoes from my garden this morning and the eggplants are still going strong! I still have a lot of small eggplants and lots of blossoms. I know Kelly wants some eggplants from me!





The tomes are going strong as well but the cold nights are taking their toll. I have basil in the herb garden and fresh mozzarella in the fridge so Caprese salad is on the lunch menu today!

Caprese salad, yummy! My basil is done for the season. You can keep the eggplant.

I have to get out into my garden and pick anything that is left before the rain comes tomorrow. I'll fill up feeders/waterers too, so I don't have to do it in the rain.

Yeah, good reminders! I'll close the flaps and tarps tonight before going to bed, although I think the rain is due later tomorrow afternoon.
