One of my Partridge girls decided to start laying again...the day of the big storm....

She laid another one today that had a weak shell. I will get them some calcium today.

One of my welsummers started back up from molt a few weeks ago. Unfortunately all others but one hen have quit. Even the Easter pullets aren't laying. The ones that started before winter stopped laying and the barnevelders haven't started yet. I'm getting 0-2 eggs, depending on the day. I'm eager for December 21st and days getting longer!

I made these with the orange peel I strained out of the marmalade when I made the orange chicken.

The oranges I got from the store the other day were so sweet... even the peel was sweet. I have Aeons ago made candied orange peel.... I may give it a go again.
