I just KNEW Kelly's surprise would be a broody hen. I hope the gift for Kelly isn't an emu egg or worse!
Nope, you can only pull that one off once in a lifetime. BTW, what is worse?

an ostrich
Then keep it! I don't need a gift.Oh crap. Can you talk to her or something? Tell her she is older than dirt and hasn't laid an egg in over five years. Tell her she is sitting on shavings and that the nearest fertile egg is one coop over? Good grief.
I saw an old lady at the post office today. Her hair was snow white but she had dyed one streak of hot pink down the right side. If she were a chicken, she would probably be sharing a nest with Skye.
I am accepting a fence bid today so it won't be long before Skye is my problem again! I got my mailbox keys today and picked up your gift. I know you're gonna' like it because I want to keep it!![]()
Ah, but you get the postcard beauty! We have many evergreens - pines, cedar and I think it's live oak keeps it's leaves all winter.
Quote: Ummm, no. It would look really pretty sitting in my china hutch, but it would NOT be incubated. I hear Mike wants it.
No, duh, a certain person who hates me at the post office, well, she hates everyone, would probably go postal on me for that!Did you get a picture of the old lady with pink in her hair?
No, I am still trying to get a fenced run. I think we may have to put up one ourselves since I can barely get a return phone call from fencing contractors, much less a bid. Hopefully Kelly won't be serving them an eviction notice for a few days. "Pleeeease, Aunt Kelly."![]()

Yeah, she's pretty mean. I don't have to deal with her anymore - neener neener.

It seems to be a requirement of every post office that they have one out of control crazy person working there.

I hope you don't mean me, Mike. I moved to a no livestock, no poultry area. I'm not certain my wife has noticed yet.![]()
