They are doing fine. Momma Barnevelder is great with them.

The not so good news..................The OE that went broody first this summer.....................was on the nest last night.

Oh for goodness sake! To be perfectly honest seeing broodies with their babies is something I will miss. I am sure I'll have to put a fertile egg or two under somebody once in awhile though. Coop and run size should keep me sane though. Michael was sitting on the deck a few days ago wondering aloud about how to make it bigger. DOWNSIZE MEANS DOWNSIZE!

Michael is driving me down to Sacramento this morning to pick up a used desk I bought from Craigslist. My dreams of just having a small desk with just my Mac on it has turned out to be a minor nightmare. I have papers, printer, and stuff all over the floor around my little desk. The one I am buying is larger and comes with a 2 drawer filing cabinet. That should help a lot.

Later today I will be ordering doors, ceiling fans and bathroom fixtures for the remodel. I tried to get Emily to test out a chair height toilet for me at Lowes yesterday, but she refused. OMG I bought her a T shirt from Awful Annie's and let her keep the $6.00 chnage we got back! Ungrateful brat!

It never ends! Thankfully, my welsummers don't go broody............well usually they don't, but I have had a couple over the years.
