Nothing here but the hail storm. Not even a cloud in the sky right now. It's not looking good for snow for me.

That's a shame, we'll keep our fingers crossed that you get some snow.

Nothing but heavy ice/frost. Bummer. I'm at 2500 feet, so a bit lower than you.

Last winter we had the 5th. snowiest winter on record (goes back 100 years I think), I can do quite well with meager amounts. Like to see it spread around so everyone gets to experience snow!!

Hello and have a wonderful Christmas. Here in NC the weather is crazy. It is suppose to hit 80 today???? whats with that? We usually have the 40's at the highest. 2 yrs ago we had snow. Wow!!!!!! what is up with the weather?

How odd is this . . . . snow in California, spring time weather in Missouri (60s), and summer weather in North Carolina . . . . . on Christmas!

I was feeling good about the rain and snow, and the read a news report this morning abut a wild fire in Ventura County!

In late December, so it is still very dry down there.

we are dealing with daily frozen waterers for the goats , chickens and our Livestock guardian dog
today the ice was over a inch and a half thick. tonight i will empty the chicken waters at least and refill tomorrow early. i poured hot water on the goat and dog tubs. they are a black plastic so it doesn't crack them.
