Stella's Social Club

Geez Mary, that would have scared the freaking life out of me. Raccoons are experienced dirty, fighters. I hope Tucker will be okay. Was he peeing all over before the raccoon chase?

No, he peed running from us when we were trying to check him for injuries. I can still hear him screaming in my head. I was frozen and yelling for Michael who was coming out right behind me.

Coops look fine. They are pretty well protected unless a raccoon can chew its way in through the netting and them manage to pry open the pop door or a window. I would be very worried about Tucker if we put up electric fencing. I think we're ok. At least I hope so. Raccoons are everywhere around here and not much you can do to change that. Just have to build it good and keep it in good shape.

Michael just sent me this picture of Tucker waiting at the vet. Ahh, poor baby. He looks scared.

For Tucker.

Tucker is back from the vet. He is none the worse for wear from the coon fight. But he is still febrile, vomiting and losing weight. He was 17.8 pounds last month, which was down from 18 pounds the month before, and tonight he is 17.4 I am going to have him thoroughly checked out next week because ! know something is going on. Thanks for all the support tonight.

I'm glad he is ok from the raccoon. I hope the rest turns out ok.

Mary- I'm glad tucker is okay. It could have been much worse. I hope you figure out what is going on with him that he is losing weight.

Muttsfan - sorry to hear about your cat. Kidney failure is how I lost my cat.
