Stella's Social Club

The sign is awesome and so is Linda. We met a year or so ago by chance. I bought the red bike and pedal car for the chicken run from her. She was so kind and friendly and I just loved her style. She describes it as "specializing in chickens." Of course I liked it, DUH! She has sort of mentored me in my foray into selling. She is a big promoter of supporting local artist and always encourages and promotes others.

Stopped by Mary and Michael's place today, it's so adorable.  Had a nice visit with them and Tucker.

We enjoyed your visit too, especially Tucker! You are the only one that rolls around on the floor with him!

Michael and Tucker came home early because things were slow then all of a sudden the shop was full! I even made a sale! Michael turned on the camera from home and saw the crowd and thought he should get in the car and come back down and help me out. But I had it! I made some good contacts. We even have a wish list for things people want us to find for them, plus I have a request for a custom painted vanity! I have gotten two small projects painted and ready to sell, plus one chair seat upholstery job done during two days at the shop. The workshop is small but there is room to work! So far, so good!

Had a great opening day. A few customers came through and some even bought stuff! I did all the transactions flawlessly! Sold some MudPaint and maybe made a believer out of a guy who is an Annie Sloan chalk paint fanatic! A friend made an awesome new sign for the the store! She is an awesome primitive artist and has been an inspiration and great resource to me.

Michael took this when he left me alone to close out the shop for the day!

cool sign Mary
