I know, I love this shot. What a sweet face.

Sounds like my house though. The Border Collies don't want to come out of their crates, they know Emma the Great Dane is waiting to grab them. If they don't come out to play, she'll try to reach in, grab them by the head and drag them out.

Needless to say, she gets in trouble for that behavior

Mary - beautiful pictures. Wynette does have nice olive eggers.

We survived a very cold, windy night at the coast Saturday night. Oh my word was it COLD! But Sunday it was beautiful and there was almost no wind. The kids had a lot of fun sledding down the sand dunes.

We also drove to Point Reyes and took the fault line walk. Got to see the San Andreas fault line and a fence that moved 16 feet in the 1906 earthquake. It was pretty neat.

Then we went clamming. Something is wrong with your kids when they won't reach down in a hole to try to grab a clam, but their mother (me) had my arm up to my shoulder down there. I got 2 of them, and man are they hard to pull up! Fell out of the boat getting out at shore on the way back, so I got soaked. It was fun stomping around on the sand to try to find the big ones (12 or so inches long) - they squirt water up, then you have to dig. Sand isn't very conducive to digging - as fast as you dig, it falls back in. I don't think I ever want to go clamming again - whole lotta work for very little reward - I have to say it was an experience though.

I got my clothes changed and we left to come home since DH had to work today - so I didn't even get to enjoy the clam chowder.

Sounds like good cold fun Kelly! Oh, I love me some good clam chowder. May just have to make that for dinner tonight.Yesterday the frost was so thick here it looked like snow.

I made linguine with clam sauce a couple of days ago. I had never tried it before but Michael always orders it at The Old Spaghetti Factory. He said mine was better!

That sounds like soooooo much fun! You are, "making memories," for your kids! They will always remember times like this!

Ohhhhhhh, that looks soooo good! I think I will make spaghetti tonight!

I am on the prowl for nice dark olive eggs if anyone knows of a source. I have a PM out to Wynette. I think she has some nice ones. I know Kathy does, but I think hers are all running together these days since the big downsizing.

All my Olive Eggers got rehomed in one of my fits of downsizing.
