Remove all bedding..burn it..clean the coop thoroughy, nesting boxes..everything in the coop needs to be treated with Sevin Dust or Permethryn...chickens included...re-treat in 7-10 days for any hatching mites...

An easy way to treat the chickens is to put some Sevin Dust/?Permethryn into a bag...put the chicken into the bag..leaving the head OUT of the bag...shake and ensure you give it a good dosing..release and they will and walk away....mite free..

If she has mites..to help her in the immediate..give here a bath in warm water...massage her underside..she may be eggbound...massage slowly and gently towards her backside..she will relax and may pass an egg..you can also give her some Vitamin D3 which may benefit her...keep in touch and let is know of any progress.
