Still no babies from Meyer today

3 ones I thought were pretty good suddenly took turns for the worse. One is circling the drain, 2 I am still working on in the hospital brooder.

Even divided in half the big brooder set up for 25 babies seems vast for just 4.

How do you force feed a chick not much bigger than a peach pit?
 
Honestly it would have been easier on me if they had all arrived dead rather than this one at a time death line. Since I got home 3 have passed and more poor husband has had to deal with that.
 
I am having nightmares now about having dead chicks delivered today.
I think you are right. As bad as dead chicks will be ones that are not savable would be worse.
 
Has anyone given you ideas on feeding?
How are those 3 looking this moring???

Got my chicks last year from Meyer. Great experience...very friendly and good customer service.

I am curious as to why anyone would order from My Pet Chicken? Why wouldnt you just go straight to Meyers which is where MPC gets their chics??
