I have to agree with putting him also on Dreamhorse.com I always look up the missing/stolen horses on there. It's perfect for getting his picture out there to the horse world just in case he took him out of state. Good luck he is beautiful.

Didn't do a criminal check, but I did last night and haven't come up with anything other than he was a victim of car theft. He was supposed to pay by the month, but after the third month stopped making payments. I went to see what was up but he was gone to a rodeo....again, not supposed to take the horse anywhere without my permission.

As SOON as I find him, he is being served. I have to find the contract with my registration papers, but this is war. He will be paying for this...he had 4 months to contact me but simply decided not to. Infuriating!

Good luck finding him! I'll keep my eyes and ears open in our area. Far, but not too far, and there's a lot of rodeoers out this way. Will you PM me his name and the horse's name so I can remember it if I hear anything?

Good luck! Someone in our round-up club had one stolen a few weeks back. Turns out it was the people they bought it from, luckily they had a signed receipt! It is now a police matter.

Also, i'd been trying to find some rodeo forums to post on. It's a small community, and most won't tolerate horse theft.

Cant the police run his info..license plate # and put an APB out on him? Do you know any of his customers? can you call them? do farriers have to be certified/licensed? can you call the farrier board? Can you put an ad in the newspaper..saying: that you are looking for (insert guys name) and hes a ferrier...etc...any info please call your #.....

Are there any rodeos anywhere in the state or close by in other state he may be entered in? You could call and see if he has entered after the closing date (do rodeos have closing dates?)
