Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

The local paper's news here: http://tahlequahdailypress.com/local/x1271725756/Accused-embezzler-waives-right-to-hearing

If anyone wants to post a comment, make sure you go to the newspaper site from YOUR browser, or else they will think they all came from the same person.

This is the comment I left: FINALLY, something positive is happening in this case. Hundreds of us from all over the US and abroad have been following this case since last Aug 09, on a Farm Forum.
The uncle, Mr. Trammel needs to get any money he feels he's entitled to from his nephew, who sold the horse to him even though he didn't own the horse. He was just leasing the horse and stopped making payments after 3 months and left town, which was against the lease agreement. Let's all hope that Max (as he is known as)gets returned to Miss Rodriguez next month. Thank you for covering this case in your local paper.

They are white spots that appear on (supposedly) red horses. Palomino is a dilution of red. Here is a case of it:

Max seems to be getting more with age. When he was 3, he only had one or two, when I went and saw him at his 4 year in April, he had SEVERAL more. The uncle is claiming that the horse he bought is not my horse because he has spots on him. Now that I've found the photos on my hard drive, he can't claim that.

Here's some more information on birdcatcher spots:

From my understanding, nobody really knows what causes it, just that it happens in red horses. It seems to get more predominant with age, and it's possible his 1/4 Appy blood is coming out, but it doesn't seem that any specific gene has been placed to link it directly. Someone else will know MUCH more about it because I'm not too sure on color genetics with horses.
