Since the uncle mentioned at the last hearing he was questioning whether Max was the same horse leased to his nephew, why didn't the DA subpena (spelling?) the guy who leased your horse and ask him on the stand what he did with Max? He pleaded guilty to embesslement, but was he ever asked on the stand what came of Max that he leased from you?

THAT. Something about it was really bothering me in terms of questioning whether or not the horse was yours. Additionally, if not. Then where the hell did he magically obtain THIS horse that the uncle admits the nephew SOLD him? One horse vanishes and another appears out of thin air? I think not. If they try to claim the horse isn't yours then now the nephew has a LOT more explaining to do. Clearly the court already felt it established Max was yours - they just want to make it so the man has no way of calling for a mistrial. The fact the judge actually LOOKS at him means now the uncle can't complain later it was a magical horse his nephew got from nowhere and the judge was being biased in not even considering that possibility.
Frankly, the man can make Max a brunette now and he'd still lose - though I think he'd be in much bigger trouble if he did.
Glad that Max previous owners are pulling hairs from his dad, can you get hair from max's mom so you have both parents sorry don't know technical names for horse breeding. I can't wait to read the post that says that Max is home with you I just wished it happened today
Will you go with the judge when she goes and looks at Max so you can verify that it is him and not another horse he is trying to use. just worried the uncle will pull something
Oh I soooo wish you could get some kind of pain and suffering from all this. I feel so bad for you but I am glad to see a light at the end of the tunnel for you. I hope the uncle doesn't pull a fast one on the judge when she comes out. Seems like this dude is capable of ANYTHING.

What a scummy scummy man and it makes it seem more and more likely there is no 7 year old who thinks the horse is his. At all.
Well, there might be a 7 yr old but I bet he has NO idea he "owns" a horse.
Amazing.
Thats what I mean. I get a strong feeling made even stronger as I mentioned before that the kid just thinks they(him and his parents) are, "looking after grampas horse" and with the new information - my suspicions are being confirmed as theres no way a 7 year old is going to ride a horse in a rodeo. :|
Wow! I hope the judge gets out to see him very soon and tehn this case will be finally over and Max will be home. Good luck RoPo and well done for keeping calm in that court room!!
