I hate even talking about this, but recently my nephew was kidnapped by his no good dad. The guy didn't have custody, but at this point there was no custody granted to anyone! So my sister had to get emergency custody granted, and paid $200 to move the court case up to 3 days after she filed, rather then 30. The child's life was in jeopardy as he was taken while he was sick, and he couldn't get his medicine, and his dad refused to bring him to the hospital. Ect ect ect... bad stuff.
Anyways, ruling was my sister got the custody of the child by default because daddy didn't show to try to tell the courts how SAFE and FINE his son was. SO the deputy called, then went to his house and WAITED with my sister 1 block away waiting. He wasn't there... then he showed up after 20 minutes in a stolen car, turned around and took off. Deputy got back up to grab him. They demanded the kid, he gave the kid to someone else (a drug dealer he owed money to it turns out), and he was given 20 minutes to bring that kid home or be arrested on kidnapping.... carries a life sentence. So he made some calls, had the kid returned (this was 5 days after taking him) and the kid was dirty in an old diaper wearing the same thing he had on 5 days earlier.
Needless to say they arrested him anyways with like 6 additional charges....
But what I'm seeing here is the obvious stolen property issue, where the man is refusing to now cooperate with the court system... and the court system doesn't want to work to do their job! I'd be at the point to start filing law suits for jobs poorly done by the court personal, and by the man that has cost you money, time and stress! You have a pretty good suit, and he's got enough land evidently to go after a piece.
At this point, without Max in hand... I would start a war!
