After waiting all weekend to be able to call the DA to find out which officer went out to see Max...I found out. It was the same person who turned in my report to the DA. Now, I can understand this you know "hey, he's dealt with the case, let's send him out." Issue is, this is the SAME man who told me that the uncle was a "good-ole boy who would take care of the horse until it was sorted out." It's the SAME person who has a friendly-nickname with the man who now has my horse.
So it is VERY little surprise to me that this happened:
1. He went out and told the man to do nothing with the horse.
2. He did not see Max on the property.
3. He has never, EVER seen Max.
4. He took the man's word that Max was "good."

Can someone please tell me why nobody is able to find out more about the condition of my horse? Why is nobody caring that much? I can't contact the prosecuting ADA because he is off today through Wednesday.
What the freakin' heck. I almost screamed at the officer who went out there while I was in Marvin's. Absolutely freakin' ridiculous.

Certainly the man has a supervisor. Keep calling and demanding action until you can verify that the horse has been actually seen by an officer. You may consider demanding that you go along. Be the squeaky wheel!!!
I am sorry, but this is just pissing me off! WTH
I can't believe these people could care less about your poor horse and you as well. Makes me so very mad!!!
At least Maxx is alive! Yes, call the SPCA
See i am so spiteful i know what i would do! I have the mentality if i can't have the horse , no one will! I know, i know........not good to think that way~
Write the mayor, governor, senator , the president IDK~

YEAH! What she said...DEMAND ACTION! its YOUR horse..dont let them bully you ROPO...you have rights..
I tried calling the actual sheriff and was told "Ma'am, he's not in his office. Is there something I can help you with?" He also couldn't tell me when the sheriff was going to be there.
Next, the ADA has not called me back after I left at least 3 messages for him before the weekend began. So I'm going to try calling the AG again to see if that will help.
I called the SPCA of Tulsa. They do not have a branch in Cherokee County, so the responsibility of checking animal cruelty is up to the sheriff's department and DA. We've all seen how well that goes. So...she said to call the representative of the district that I am from to see if he can get something moving.
I don't know who my representative is? I'm from Claremore, OK, Rogers County. I'm going to do some googling so forgive me if I do not answer right away.

If calling doesn't work, go in person. If you don't get a satifactory response, file a formal complaint against the officer and the department. Make sure that they know that it's your intention to do so if immediate action isn't taken.
OK. Called the Rep. for my county and was told I needed to contact the Rep. from Cherokee County (that district). The Rep. from my district said he would send a letter to the AG office regarding it.
So, I called the Rep. for the other district. No answer.
So, I called the AG to find out what to do next. The secretary sent me to a voicemail.
I've called the ASPCA who was the one who suggested I call the Reps. I did. I also called the Humane Society and got a voicemail. Why on earth does nobody work on Mondays!!!
