OK, so I called some attorneys thanks to someone!

You know who you are!!!

And was given some names of some local attorneys who would probably be willing to bust these people apart.




And can someone explain to me why I haven't been contacted yet regarding the preliminary hearing Dec. 2, at 1:30PM for the case of embezzlement??? Shouldn't I be included in that to help build a case against him?

After calling the judge, there have been no papers regarding an ownership hearing civilly. I can ONLY assume that they are attaching it to the criminal case. I am going to try and call again.

The horse is yours... you can prove it... why won't they let you go get your horse? When my GPS was stolen, the thief didn't get to hold on to it and care for it... it was taken to the police station for me to come and pick up immediately. WTH...

When my neighbor's car was stolen and sold to someone... that someone didn't get to keep the car and give it gas and washes... it was taken to the impound lot for my neighbor to go identify, prove ownership and TAKE HOME!!!!!

WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH THESE PEOPLE??????

This whole thing stinks to high heaven! Is there an honest person in that sheriff's department?? So much cronyism and good ol' boy back slapping! It makes me sick! I still say the harsh light of publicity (to make the cockroaches scurry out of sight) is the only way anything is going to get done. Maybe you should call that TV station back. This makes me wish I knew the governor or a senator or something. Sheesh!

I have been thinking of you all weekend. Hugs to you, and hang in there! You know we are all with you all the way! We can have a party here on the BYC site when Max comes home!

It seems like it may be all too common to get this type of treatment from our law enforcement and legal system. Our house was robbed a few months ago and they actually caught the guy with one of our stolen items in his hands a few hours after it happened. It had GPS tracking and we had to track it ourselves, but at least we lucked out and got an officer willing to go to the coordinates we gave him and arrest the guy. But we had the worst time getting anything else out of the police or the DA. They refused to get a search warrant to look for the rest of our stuff. It was a pure PITA and we could never even manage to get the recovered item back even though it was absolutely positively identified as ours. We were given a date of the first court appearance, but never notified when the date changed. Nothing. All we got was the ol' runaround from everyone we talked to. Finally, we were notified after he was convicted of probation violation (that was all he got). We had to look it up ourselves to find out if he went to jail or not.

But in this case a life is involved and they *really* should be more cooperative. Even if it is "only" an animal. I wish you good luck getting Max back. I sure hope he is safe and well. What a ridiculous mess!

REPO go to sheriff's office file a complaint against the uncle for hold and hiding stolen property that is what this is, you will get a phone call from the DA when they want to go over your testimony and a subpoena when to show up for the hearing if it happens on Dec 2nd but go and file that complaint make them retrieve the stolen item MAX now and don't take no for an answer go to the library and check out the blue book of criminal justice it has all the definition of crimes in it make a copy of receiving stolen property and take that with you to the sheriff's office then they will have to do something this whole thing stinks call the media again and tell them you still can't get your horse back and no one has actually seen max and you are worried that there is funny business going on in the sheriff's office see what happens when the media gets involved this whole thing is just stupid I have never seen a criminal case handle so badly in my life... keep calling go there in person do what ever it takes to get Max back still praying for you good luck
