RoPo, I feel so sick for you. You're WAY more patient than me. I woulda gone down there already with a bunch of big guys, armed to all hell and taken back my horse, even if it ended up like a Western shoot-out.

That's what I was wondering, too. You need to demand a copy of Barney's report of his visit to the uncle to see what really happened (he had to document something). The media would jump all over a falsified police report.

No, I'm saying that the uncle moved the horse before the officer went out there. The officer told him not to do anything with the horse and took the uncle's word that Max was "good." He didn't check the condition, nothing.
