could you get some to stake out the Uncle place to fallow his where abouts, i know you said, he has a couple address, but i wonder if someone could start fallowing him, and see where he goes

Oh, I think they're passing the messages along. I think the sheriff just doesn't want to deal with the issue. He has more important things on his mind... like donuts?

What about SPCA or someone who deals with animals, If the uncle is moving Max and now knows he is stolen he is in possession of stolen property and anyone else that lives on these properties are also in possession of stolen property, is the uncle married maybe going through the wife to get the horse. what the heck is the deputy thinking he was supposed to see the horse not just take the guys word for it, start calling the media about a possible abused stolen horse that will get their attention stories like that make great ratings and that is what news agency want give them a story that they can't refuse call anybody that deals with animals that have been stolen now that their are criminal charges against the 1st guy who had your horse and he sold the horse it is stolen so now some body should be able to do something get all the uncles addresses, goggle his name and get them then call in a possible animal that is being mistreated and that he is in possession of a stolen horse they have to go our and check on any complaint made...is the uncle in OK or AR get everyone and anybody that you can think of and call or go to the office much harder to refuse someone when they are there in person. I can't believe that this is still going on and max is not back with you You need to let anyone know that the sheriff who is voted into office is not doing anything people who get elected don't like negative press so make signs get family members to help put up signs that say sheriff's office won't check on a stolen horse or return him to his rightful owner.. take out an ad in the paper Missing/Stolen horse has any one seen it, that should get peoples attention and make sure to put in there that the sheriff's office will not help in the recovery of this horse that should get sheriff's attention. keep up the heat make as much noise and be a pest make sure that they know you won't stop until max is back with you maybe that will get some body off their butts.

The uncle is in OK. To my knowledge, he is not married.


I contacted the SPCA and they rely on the sheriff and police force to check on the welfare of an animal since they do not have a branch out there. The humane society called last night and said that unless I know the specific location of the horse, they cannot do a check up on it. I only have the mailing address for the uncle and I have a high-sneaking suspicion that the uncle has either sold Max or has moved him to a friend's location so that he cannot be tracked going back and forth to him.

DON'T wait, go camp on the sherriff's office door! AND By the way, keep track of your time off work that they have WASTED, you should be paid back for that from the SHERRIFF'S office. THEY are wasting your time.

GO to the sheriff's office and sit there and WAIT until someone will talk to you. Explain that you are tired that nobody will listen to you and help and that their "police" office is a joke. You want the report that the officer checked on the horse and can CONFIRM that the horse is on the property AND you want pictures and veterinary documentation that this horse is "okay".

This is ridiculous. Get a lawyer. Go up the chain of command, if your sheriff isn't doing crapp, go above him and his office!

Ironically, channel 2 won't even give me a call back. I've called them repeatedly and get the same result "If we decide to do it, we'll let you know."

I called the reporter back who wanted to do an interview and he's going to try and bring up the entire issue again at his editorial meeting to see if any light can be shed on it. He said that even if he's not allowed to do it just yet, that this is going to keep building and eventually something is going to explode.

He wants to be kept in the loop, especially if and when I am able to simply retrieve Max.
