The hearing for today was canceled. BECAUSE, the second judge that recused did not turn in the proper paperwork for recusing. This caused the case to be reverted back to the original judge, who had filed the proper paperwork for her recuse. The judge it was SUPPOSED to go to refuses to hold it in her court without the proper documentation. So a whole day down the drain.

I had asked the sheriff's department to get documentation that Max was in good condition and health. They came back with a "he looked good." There were no photos, vet statements...nothing.


I have no idea when the preliminary hearing for the man's embezzlement charges will be held and I have no idea when the ownership hearing will be held either.

I am NOT going to pay upkeep to someone who refuses to allow me to see my horse. I also will not be badgered by those who believe that it is fair for someone to hide stolen property.

I would definitely contact your State Representatives, Congressmen, Senators, etc. Someone needs to be checking up on these people! They need to know they can't just do whatever they want, they are not above the law.
