this is pure BS that is for sure, call the DA, let them know once again you are getting the run around, then get in your car, and GO to the sherriffs dept, tell them YOU want to see the seizure papers, so you can get the address to go get YOUR horse. That order should be just like a search warent. It should say where to look an what you are after an should be handled the same. No calling just pull up, bang on the door, show the judges signature an take the horse.

If the horse is moved now its called theft buy concealment an contempt of court.

Does the uncle not realize that the judge has awarded you your horse back and he can go to jail for not returning Max? I would make a call to the DA and let them know that people are not cooperating with you.

You will get Max back today come heck or high water.

You'd think that wouldn't you? EXCEPT, the deputy claims he does not know where Max is. Even though he has been there himself and seen him himself. So why all of a sudden is it impossible to simply go and get Max? I have no idea, but that is his response when I asked "and what if he doesn't contact you?"

How come?! That is what I want to know?! The deputy claims he does not know the exact location of the horse so will not go out there. The uncle has not called the deputy and the deputy stated:

"He's going to be an ass about this. I knew he would."

Well, he can be an ass, I want my horse TODAY. Why am I not able to go get him?!

OH NO. NO NO NO NO NO!

If you have the paperwork and even a vague idea where he is, you do have the right to go get him.

Otherwise, if the deputy is leaving messages, he needs to remind the uncle in that phone message that he can be cited for contempt of court, which means jail time, if he does not turn over this animal promptly today. If per chance this drags into tomorrow, you should be at the judge's chambers the moment the courthouse opens requesting that very thing! Judges will not tolerate this type of evasion of their rulings.

Good luck to you. You've taken quite enough of their sh-t already. It is time they accept that they lost and surrender the horse. It's time for Max to come home!
