KatieBugg alerted me to this and I'm so appreciative of her keen eye. My photos are not to be copied or reproduced without permission. This has happened before to me and I cannot believe it's happening again, So anytime, any of you are following my ads, think you see my photos, please let me know. I've tried watermarks and those have been obliterated. I have contacted this Craigslist poster by phone and reported to Craigslist.

If any of you have bought eggs from us and decided to list our pictures, please be clear that the birds are not yours but ours AND get permission before so doing.

The Garry Farm has worked so hard for so many years and it saddens me deeply to see this kind of activity.

Here's our BYC listing........ See anything familiar....

I tell y'all that my heart monitor took a leap when I saw this.... I believe in the Ten Commandments and hope that all this photo theft will stop. I went through months of it this summer with EE flocks being listed - eventhough they were watermarked. Even if this was someone who bought my eggs and I don't think that's the case, they should clearly indicate that these are the parents of their flock and put pictures of their birds - don't you think.... I'm presently searchin my eggs shipped and don't see any that would have landed in that area. Feel free to call the folks and see where they got there eggs. They do have a message from me...

If by chance, you listed the craigslist ad, please put in YOUR pictures of your flock. I'm tired of this. Excuse the rant, I was just raised differently. Hope you all can understand. Nancy

Make your own post on Craigslist with a link to your byc link:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=596917

It will be listed on top as most recent and anyone that sees yours will know it when they read it. Also report them to craigslist - I think they may/will delete the post. This also comes up with peafowl eggs for sale in the spring with ebay. People steal other's pics of peas & put them as what therir birds look like.

Sorry

That is so rude! Very awful of them to take credit for your work

I flagged them.

Kathy, I did call them this morning, so I'll just wait and see if they "change their habits"....i left a long message...Will see if they call. I did report to craigslist. I will go ahead and list information on the craigslist that those are our birds. Saddens me so! Thanks for all the suggestions and especially to KatieBugg on her keen eyes!

Well I must go to wrapping eggs and other morning tasks, so I leave this to rest for a while. I did post the following on craigslist and perhaps this will stop the usage. Thanks for listening folks. Borrowed with permission is one thing but taken without permission is another. I prayed before posting this listing, that it not be inflammatory or assuming "motive".

Now I've had enough drama for the day....I'll be glad to see drama of caring for our animals and crops now! Have a blessed day. Nancy

Since this has happened repeatedly to you....

I'm thinking it's the same person. Since it has mostly been the pics of the same birds. As a follower of Monk, LOL, and believing his detective reasoning (fiction or no)... This is someone you have encountered trying to get back at you.
Making a buck is probably just icing on the cake... if it's the same person then they have to have a reason why they are continuously targeting you.
I would consider all of the people you have encountered who might be selling near that area, not just the ones who have purchased from you (not likely them IMO).

I would also look up their phone number to find their name. I know there are places on the internet where you can do that. I bet you can file some kind of legal action/sue... and if it has been the same person this whole time then I think it would be worth it to put a stop to it.

Amazing How many times this happens -- and there are enough posts on this kind of thing that people should know people are protective of Pics:barnie
