Hey guys,

I have a 9 month old galah with a biting habit. Whn we first got him he was gorgeous, he never bit anyone, then a few weeks later, biting came in with a temper to match. Seriously, if he trips over something he throws himself on his back and screams.

We have tried everything to stop him biting:

> Spraying him with a water bottle (FAIL he likes it)
> Putting him on his stand (FAIL jumps straight off and comes running back)
> Putting him back in his cage and covering it (FAIL screams and screams and screams)

So do you guys have any ideas on how to stop him from biting. He's attached himself to me but he still bites, and when he bites it hurts.

Thanks guys :)

I have a bird that does that too. If she doesn't feel she is getting the attention that she wants. She throws all her toys around in her cage and knocks down her food and water bowl. But I think she is bi-polar because one minute she will be giving me kisses and talking to me the next she is locked onto my face, in fact she just did it this morning. So I too would love to know how to control biting.

Haha believe me my bird gets enough attention and if he doesnt, he again throws himself on the floor and screams :D
bi polar? That would make sense for my bird too :p
Well in that case we can share this thread :) Perhaps we can both learn :)
