10,000th post today. Suggestions for serving duck at a pot luck. Really expected it to be a feed forum for my 10,000th. Still, not entirely out of character.

Beautiful! What breed is this?

Blueberries, blackberries, two grapes (too early for the third to fruit), asperagus (planted this year, doing great), roses (multiple varieties, obviously not edible), purple passion fruit, oregano (can't kill oregano). Nothing else overwintered. Even my early garden stuff got wiped - artichokes, squish, zuccs, most of my scallion, lost the garlic...

Elderberry is an easy shrub to grow and great medicinal plant. I've got a couple nice plants I started from cuttings.I have better luck planting them in early spring.

Not a great picture, these are the five from not last hatch, but the hatch prior.

This HAD been a bed full of clover, btw. They utterly destroyed it, with a few of the older birds. Took less than 24 hours.

Looks like you have a cockerel. And that he might be the appropriate coloring?
