A month went by and spring came. And Mango knew that every spring the owner gets new chickens! Mango told Elinore about that a new chicken is going to come, because of spring. The owner came back from the poultry swap, and brought back a rooster! A Ameraucana rooster! He was beautiful! His name was Walnut after his walnut comb. He was very nice and loved to chit chat.
He right away became good friends with Elinore.

The coop was hopping!!!! The chicks were doing great, and Walnut and Lander got along nicely. Mango was glad that Peach was no longer brooding, and Elinora and Flufferfeet would watch the chicks. Nightsky was regaining back her strength and the coop was once again back to normal.
