Strange bumps

My friend has a chicken who is totally normal otherwise, but has 2 bumps that have appeared over the last couple of weeks. What are they?

That is her ear lobe. I cannot tell if that is an abscess or cyst/tumor. How does it feel? How long between the 2 pictures?

One week apart. I’m not sure how it feels as I don’t live near her and haven’t seen them in person myself.
