Sounds like there could be an impaction in the crop, or elsewhere in the digestive tract, or yes she has some other reason why the crop is slow.

Keep up the coconut oil and massages for some time and see if her crop eventually empties properly. Sometimes it can take some time. And worm her.

Yes. And make sure she has grit in case the gizzard needs help clearing stuff.

Hello! This morning I checked her crop, it was a hard, small ball. After coconut oil and massage it went down. She still acts normal. Is this a slow crop issue or could it be an underlying issue? The crop seems to empty when I massage it but after she eats a bit it stays full for many hours, even during sleep.

Did you check the crop before she'd had anything to eat or drink?

I'd keep up with the coconut oil twice a day and massage.

It's normal for the crop to feel full after she's been eating.

Yes, I checked before she ate anything or drank water at all after spending the night in a roost that has an automatic door.

After a massage in the morning it seems to go down, but by the next morning comes around it is hard and full, even without access to food/water for several hours over night.

I'll keep massaging with coconut oil twice a day.
