There was a thread about a rooster, a definite crowing rooster with the hackle and saddle feathers, who changed sex and began laying eggs. So it isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility.....

Because he attacks me when I go in the coop... outside of it so far he hasnt....he has plenty of places to roost in the barn...he can either defend himself or he will be cockanoodle soup.
