Strange marks on eggs under a broody

No worries, the year is flying by fast! Could still be some sort of bacteria growth or it could be the chick or yolk pressing up against the shell. I'd just keep an eye on it and watch out for any foul smells.

SO true!! I can’t even believe we’re almost halfway through this year!!
Will do! I was only going to candle twice, but because of these two eggs, I’m going to do it the normal 3 times. I might even check on these two eggs before my second candling.

And candling doesn't hurt the eggs, some batches I candle daily and others once a week.
