I first saw the picture and was immediately speechless. I just had this goofy grin on my face. I thought it was a joke the OP was trying to play on all of us. I even looked at the number of posts, trying to figure out if the OP joined just to pull one over on us.

Then I saw that the OP had a decent number of posts. Then I thought, it was someone photoshopping around. If I remember correctly this is what I though "there is no way those are real, someone HAD to have photoshopped. The eyes don't look real, where's the head??" LOL

I will now continue to show the rest of my family that such creatures really do exist! Go figure!

I told DH that it would be cool to get the white one but it might kill us in the middle of the night. We've decided to pass.

I'll tell you what. DH is obsessed, I mean obsessed, with the link between birds and dinosaurs. But he was absolutely creeped out by the frogmouth chickens. Meanwhile, I'm torturing him with it - "But honey, this is your perfect pet! Let's get one!"
