Hello All,
Thank you for taking a moment to check out my post. I have been noticing in a few of my birds dropings a strange gooey pinkish substance. This morning my baby girl pooed right in front of me and there was some in her poo.
It is not blood, but it looks like, and I appologize for the graffic description, when your cat is eating a mouse and they have the body wide open, like the little kidneys or organs. About the size of a cowpea or lentil.
Does that sound like worms? Or could it be something else?
Facts about my flock:
16 weeks old
5 Black Sex Link
4 Barred Rock
5 Rhode Island Red
2 California White
Very active, no signs of lethargy except the usual hot weather lounging.
Eating normal, still loving thier breakfast yogurt and fresh corn treats.
Nothing out of the ordinary except the strange substance.
They are still on grower/starter rations. I give them Avia Charge every week or so.
Also it is not always in thier droppings, sometimes every other day and from only a couple birds. Most other droppings are normal.
Can you help me?
