Strange swelling under one eye- no other symptoms. Any ideas?

Yeah. The vet said a swelling like this can be a virus that can turn into cancer. So I'll just see.

UPDATE ON MY HEN:


first off, thanks so much for all the help. I didn't think it was a canker cause there was no other spot and it remained closer to her eye.

Ok, so it is now almost all deflated. The vet gave me a steroid shot to give her for 2 days. That was 3 days ago. I hope this helps someone else.
