Ok I've never bin to CA but just googled a bit, could it be an alligator lizard?

And is it always an S track or sometimes a straight line as well?

I don't think alligator lizards make those kinds of tracks, plus it seems a bit too big for that.

I think you have snake in your coop. I also think it swallowed a mouse and that is why the tracks look so wide.I cant wait to see what it is.

The only snake I know that lives there and would eat birds is a Sidewinder but they make these specific tracks...

( I am so happy we don't have those type of snakes here)

Yes snakes can make straight lines.

I don't think she has Gila Monsters out there, plus you would see the feet prints next to the slides.
