Strangest pet you or someone you know has owned?

I don't know why the fish didn't eat the rays though. I was there during feeding time and they took a live feeder mouse to feed the fish. I don't really care for watching animals eat live feeder mice but it was interesting since the fish didn't swallow it alive. It turned the mouse around in its mouth so the head was poking out to drown it first. Never seen anything like it before.

I've had rats, and I have snakes right now. My grandma had a raccoon and possum. I dont know of any extremely weird animals though.

Besides that, my cat is very strange. Actually, she's not a cat, she's a Martian. I think that's pretty strange don't you?

I had a milk snake as a kid. I found it around the foundation of my grandfather's old farm house and he said I could keep it. I named it Hoyt after him. My family stayed away from Hoyt so there was no sibling rivalry about playing with him/ her like there was with the family dog.

I fledged a hummingbird baby last summer. It was the most stressful 3 weeks I've probably ever experienced. Talk about Time Constraints! But I have pic's and video to remember her by and maybe she will come back to our yard and breed this year. She even let me pet her.

My mom had a pet alligator when she was a kid. It was in their garage where her dad worked on cars. It died after like a year or two from paint fumes

A possum!

Her mom got hit by a car and there were mashed babies all over the road.

They were old enough to ride on her back...there was only one that I was able to save...she was VERY nice and we "trained" her to ride on our dog's back as the dog leapt over recycling bins.

Oh and we made the possum wear a beast cape--from my sister's beauty & the beast (beast) doll. It was purple & shiny.

I wish we had a video of that, lol
