Stunted adolescent chicks

Oh boy... No need to experiment with fish meal. If you are using S&P, it is formulated correctly and has the right amount of fishmeal already in it. Just see to it that the birds eat ALL the feed. A spray of real olive oil if that works (I haven’t tried it) - no polyunsaturated fats, they go rancid too quickly and then you have a whole new problem - or mixing up the fines left behind in the trough feeder every few days(no waste feeder!) with a bit of liquid and feeding nothing but that for a day, or mixing up all the feed with water and feeding it fresh ever day or fermenting it are all good options. S&P say to make sure the chickens eat ALL the feed and give suggestions in their feeding instructions. If that is too much work just get pellets. Many of us are grateful to have a more natural product than the extruded processed stuff more commonly fed, though. No need to be down on S&P for offering a quality product that people need to be a tad more thoughtful about.

I fed there feed wet, started a batch of fermented feed and also added a food dish in a confined space, so only the smaller chickens can get in. Just in case the bigger chicks are keeping them away hopefully that helps since I can't change the temperature, I'll keep you all posted.

Update, I have been feeding wet and fermented feed depending on my time limits. The boys in the group have really grown and everyone's feathers are looking fantastic. We recently had a snow storm so fed fed dry feed in a bowl that was frozen to the ground and it was easy to see the amount of crumbs were being left behind.

YAY! Glad to hear it is working for you - and them.
