Stupid Has No Bounds! LOL

This makes me think of that older Cosby show "kids say the darndest things".

One weekend...while spending it with her grandparents, my (5 year old) daughter was going to go somewhere with grandma. After my MIL buckled my daughter in and gets in the front seat, my daughter says, "grandma....do you have a driver's license?" My MIL told her she did...and my DIL REFUSED to believe her. She KEPT asking her if she was SURE she had a DL! (we figured she'd NEVER been in the car with grandma driving, grandpa always did the driving!!!)

Part of my job as Asst. Manager is training new employees in the art of baking bread and rolls. Which means we have to keep a count of all goods baked. I asked this young wife and mother to count what she had laid out to bake. Her counting went: 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 14 etc. I asked her to please recount it. Again: 2, 4,6, 8, 12, 14. We did this at least 4 times before I finally asked where 10 was? Her come back was: "OH! I did forget that didn't I?" Needless to say she no longer works with our store.

... I sent my senior into the PO to get stamps for Mothers Day cards. He was then supposed to put them on the envelopes and send them out and bring me the rest of the book.

He comes out and hands me some stamps that are for postcards. I freak. He told the clerk he needed stamps for postcards, as opposed to Mothers Day cards and then proceded to put them on and mail them.

So everyone got their cards postage due...i was sooo embarrassed. He did no know the price of a stamp for a 1st class envelope.

I could have cried....

AND teach your kids to do math. Practice their math facts. Many children like to read on their own, but not many like to practice their math!!

I'm by far not saying my DH stupid, but...

Today I said to him, "Did you know Ted Kennedy died?"
He proceeded to say "Was that the president?" (meaning JFK)

To his defense, he did realize what he'd said, but still... He's not gonna live that down for at least a week

There was the time at the fast food joint...the total was $2.25. I didn't have the exact amount, so I gave the young lady a $5 bill and a quarter. She looked at me kinda funny, got my change and gave it to me......the quarter and 3 $1 dollar bills.
