Doesn't look normal to me. Looks like internal bleeding maybe?

It was a bit bloodier than I thought it would be. What would cause that?

Very hard to say. I've only ever seen a couple like that, and without looking really closely at all the organs it would be hard to know. Maybe @Fire Ant Farm has some suggestions?

Okay, I pulled out the distinctive bits and what have you... Don't know what all of them are, but I cut them apart anyway. Rinsed the inner cavity out, but couldn't see anything that had obvious holes in it.
The gizzard was huge and very hard, is that normal?

Sorry for blurry images, it's hard to get the camera in focus with your elbow...

I cut open the crop this time, as you can see in the images, and just some watery feed came out... Nothing unusual, no smell.

I don't know, really. I haven't done anything different with these chicks vs any others, and this is the first time I have done a necropsy so I can't see very well what all is normal or not.
