Hello, I had a Colombian Wyendotte, she was 6 mos and had no problem yesterday. But today, she was laying down sick in the coop. I had her in my hands, and gave her a walk. When I returned to the coop, she started to stretch her neck for air, and twitching. Now I had a chick do this before, it's just her nerves reacting to her death ... I think .... So anyway, after her death, white stuff started pouring out from her beak (Mouth) and nostrils. Do you know what this is?? Why the white stuff was coming out? The other chicken deaths that happened before, there were no white stuff coming out.

Thanks!!

Sorry to hear about your loss! Did you notice any sneezing or coughing before you lost her? It almost sounds like a respiratory infection - but I'm no chicken doc and there are a lot of folks on this thread more qualified than I to offer a suggestion. Again, sorry you lost your bird. Happy holidays!
