Suggestions - flower or plants

Hi community, my beautiful RIR passed away over night. I am so sad, she was our oldest girl. We are going to bury her in our backyard and I'd like to plant a flower or plant to remember her. Any suggestions? I am not really the gardening type so I'm a bit lost. I think some sort of hardy flower would be nice. Here is a pic of my girl from last year

What a sweet looking girl! Great idea! How about a daylily? They bloom through most of the summer, and are also nice and leafy when not in bloom. They come in lots of colors!
Very low maintenance, blooming, perennial that doesn't take over the whole garden space.

I wholeheartedly agree on the daylily suggestion. They come in any number of beautiful red and orange shades and you can't kill them. They grow anywhere!
