Suggestions for trail camera for predators

I doubt that anything like this will keep a motivated critter away for long. These are the animals who have adapted to city living everywhere; a few lights and noises will be irrelevant to them pretty fast.
Spend $$$ on fencing, electric, and building that Ft. Knox coop instead.

We have the Nite Guard lites on 3 sides of the barn, but it might have been too high up for the opossum to see-it's supposed to be at eye level of the predator. I mostly expect foxes so that's the level I had it. Some people swear by these things.
I've used those in the past. Through my security camera I watched a possum walk right passed them and a raccoon walked up to them and sniffed them.

So he has become adapted to the light-interesting. I saw an outdoor light at Best Buy tht had an alarm on it. It would generally be used on your house to scare off intruders but might be good for chicken coops as well.
As said above spend your money on fencing, electric fences and similar stuff, besides I don't want to disturb this fox, he keeps rabbit population down and hasn't attacked my hens yet, If he does I have a live trap ready.

Thanks I will take your advice. Our electric fence was knocked down by cows-prob need a new one.

I had 4 roosters, I culled one because I didn't like him, but he was not mean. then I had 3 and just today a hawk took my blue copper maran rooster, which was not my favorite, but I still wanted to keep. All my chickens are cooped up now, the hawk is still hanging out.

A hawk took a rooster?

I didn't think a hawk would take a rooster. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sure that hawk will hang around and try everything he knows. Maybe time for netting over them.

Opossum caught!!
So we caught him but some important points. First, he went in the coop before 3 PM-still daylight. From everything I've read they avoid daylight and can't see well. I guess that is false. Never assume they won't be around during the day. Second, he was not going after the chickens (they were outside and he went inside for the chicken feed) but eventually I'm sure he'd go for the chickens, so I'm not taking chances. Third, he played dead for a while but came back to life and hissed at us. So don't assume they will play dead until you leave.
I guess a lot of what I read was not true, or at least not true in this case. So don't take any chances
