I seen some pics of Sumatra hens with chicks on Facebook.
I don't have any broody Sumatra yet......hoping to next year

Broody sumatra. She was last year's late hatch so she only has 4 chicks. Her bloodline has not been allowed to hatch their own chicks for several generations but I expect her to do very well next year.

So here's my progress...going into show season so I'm hopeful
These were a few weeks ago. They're all looking a bit tattered today losing feathers everywhere his tail is normally a little more full so it hangs down a little closer to the ground

He's 2yrs old and themes are his spurs

He is a pretty bird and so are your hens. It's hard to tell much
from the pics being they aren't that close. Good luck with your
show season, hope you win lots of ribbons.
