YES I have been a member for 20 or so yrs. It has had its up and down but it seem to have so good people trying to keep it afloat. I think it is a good way to visit with some good breeder and learn from them, JuST the interest in this group will help alot, ,,,,, come on in the pot is waRM..... and you welcome.... Just spoke with Mr. Schock and hopefully next winter i will be a proud owner of a set of his sumatras!
When he called me i was awe struck like a star struck fan face to face with THE DUKE!
my mind was sayin " IM NOT WORTHY! Im not worthy!"lol had a good convo learned alot in ten min!

BLACK! Lol i like the blues,duns, and plats but all the genetic jargon turned me off of them....The stock i get from him will be my oldest's breeders. Im hoping to get her into 4H in the fall. Im getting eggs from a poster on here and im in love with his flock! Im also getting some chicks from another, those will be my breeder stock and i am going to town with them! My grand father had them when i was a boy and i fell in love with them! Havent seen them in almost 25yrs! My goal is to suprise him with a pullet next spring! Heck i may even give him my ideal stock? Thats if DW dont cook em first....lol

Hi I don't have any Sumatras yet but I have some American games and all this talk about Dun color makes me want to share a picture of my trio of what I call Red Duns. The pic I have only shows the rooster and part of one hen, will try to get some better pics later, Lynn in Okla.

I am no color expert but in Old English this would be a miss-marked Silver Blue I think!! Lynn in Okla.
